How to Get Scuffs Off White Leather Shoes

Wednesday, April 11, 2012
"You can always tell what kind of man you're dealing when you see how they keep their shoes. Always look at their shoes baby girl." - my Daddy

The only way I know how to get those dastardly scuffs off easily is to get yourself some toothpaste (non-gel type), an old clean toothbrush, and a little patience.

Place a dollop of toothpaste onto the scuff and a little scrub-a-dub with the toothbrush later you'll have:

Remember to clean the excess toothpaste off thoroughly with a damp cotton ball then allow to dry, or you can buff it dry with a soft washcloth. Don't forget to test on an inconspicuous place on the shoe first. In this example mine need a bit more rinsing, but you get the idea. I haven't tried this on a non-leather shoe so I can't attest to that, but it works wonders even on these older-than-me perforated leather slingback pumps.

Your shoes work hard for you so make sure they look good.

All for now,
